Colors aside they still look like mudflaps stuck sideways on your bumper cover to me. I'd take them back off.

Yeah, good idea to try, but I don't think it worked out so great...

Also, did you use spray paint to paint your bumper blue? That looks cool

Trim off a little of the outer edge and corner so it conforms more to the body style. It's a good idea and I applaud you for trying it out. I think it has potential.

Actually I believe they are to add downforce to the front of the car, but I don't think that mud flaps will hold up to well to 120mph speeds.

That's right Hostile....& yes that's what they're really called too BTW! Hondaboy! They're used to give not only downforce but give it a formula race look too.
Those mud flaps will be lucky to hold up the 60MPH let alone 120mph! :thumbdown

hahaha ok ok ... shit, i understand... i will just use Vapoorise on it maybe it will make it better ... i got that off the movie Envy... movie sux by the way....

actually , they do hold up pretty well... i went like 90 with them, and they were fine .. im just having some fun with the car ... im not trying to have a professional look anyway ... reason is that the car is not worth wasting money on .... 12 valves, carb, 4 speed ( 5th gear dont work anymore) enoof said

I thought the term for those were Canards not Cunards. Who knows I could be wrong. I think it's a good idea, just a bad method of doing it. A+ for creativity!

good idea, but needs more fabrication, it looks too trashy like you stuck all the extra parts you had together and stuck it to the front of your bumper. i give you props for trying though..its more than ive done...lol

I'm pretty sure the term is "canard" because that's French for duck.

According to RK Sports catalog they're called "Cunards" though.....Hence that's what I called them too.

DeathRat it's possible that it was a misprint or something b/c I have been looking all over and I see them called canards or splitters.

I felt 3 links with the term "canards" would be enough to make me think it's spelt that way.

Try mounting the "mud guards" so their front aligns with the "wide plastic thingy in the middle".

Mount them behind the "wide plastic thingy in the middle" and under the bumper by cutting out a part from the front of the "mud guards" and sides of bumpers.
