my acceleration is on the lagging side...

what are some ways to improve my acceleration without spending so much money???

A tune up.....plugs, wires, etc

I know when i first purchased my car ichanged out the air filter (it was filthy!) And it gave me better performance most noticeable on acceleration. Also replace your fuel filter(s) that gave me a noticable improvement!

here is my idea for you.
save about $100- 150.
than go and get NGK wires, Ngk plugs, rotor and cap. fuel filter, go to Autozone and get airintake for civic and modify to fit. get K&N cone for this intake.
If you still have money left, get your self Accel or MSD coil.
this should with acceleration.

all filters ( fuel , air ) PCV valve ! wires , sparks , cap , rotor , engine oil and filter , tranny oil !

and check your ignition timing and timing belt !

Yea I just did all that to a friends car alond with a new O2 sensor it has never moved so well.
