I am just wondering if I would be able to put some of those Integra TypeR seats in my car? you know, the black ones with the red stitching?

I am assuming that I would have to modify something, but how hard is it?

Seat rails will have to be custom made.

i think sparco makes rails for our cars, but i can't be sure. i know some company is making rails that will hold aftermarket seats.

edit: Ok i found who makes them. it wasn't sparco.
here are the links http://www.overboost.com/obs/product.asp?pid=20491
and http://www.overboost.com/obs/product.asp?pid=20492
i am not sure if any other than Corbeau seats will bolt to them.

Thanks for the links... but I remember when I used to work at a parts store, I found some sparco sliders for our cars... But these seats are pretty much like normal integra seats, just different fabric i believe, so I don't know if aftermarket sliders would work.

I saw a 3rd gen Accord with ITR seats a couple of weeks ago so i guess its possible to adapt them. I didnt like the way the black seats looked among the rest of the grey interior though.

Ya, but if I did that, I would also recover my backseat and door panels in the same fabric and red stitching.

Did you talk to the guy with those seats? because my seats don't give me enough support, and I have a fucked up back, so something with more lumbar, and better side bolsters would be nice, and those seats look ill! lol

The lumbar adjustment on the 88-89 LX-i seat I have is jacked up. It springs back to unsupported position by itself.

Or you can get 3rd gen prelude seats that have the lumbar support.

To your question: Anything is possible, it all depends on what you know and what you can do. Or how much money you have for someone else to do it for you.

My se-i seats have lumbar support, but its nothing special, and those integra seats are so damn comfortable.

i tried to put 4g prelude seats in my car today it didn't work out well so i will be selling them an pick up some 3g prelude ones. Just to make sure, the 86-87 and 88-89 bolt holes and rails are the same right? because i haven't seen any 86-87's with 3g prelude seats in them...

i think they are a lil different...the 86-87 have the buckel screwed down to the body of the car... on the 88-89 its on the seat that is connected to the rails..
