header....with stock exhaust?

Would it be harmful in anyway to run my header with stock exhaust? I have this new car and im swapping parts but i dont want to put my old exhaust on it but want to keep the header. would it be okay do u think? Atleast until i get my new muffler and full exhaust?

it should be fine. . . .but you'll only get a lilttle power gain . . . . i chaged my exhaust just made it a bigger diameter and added a twin tail pipe, it i noticed gain's.

yea..im not to worried about the power gain..just wanted to know if it would be okay for a bit....until i get my full setup...thanks for the reply!
