the red interior has got to go, so this weekend I started a project of painting the car's insides... black with mediuim blue.. pics as soon as I get it all done

Good luck on project! I know i need to change my interior when i repaint my car black. Right now its gold on outside and inside which i hate :barf: i plan to put black leather seats in it when i got money... :cool:

I am painting everything.. I know this thread sucks with out pics but I have to wait for everything to dry before I put it together...

I am gonna be searching for lude front seats and then off the stock reds go

almost done.. just have to get the dash out and then it will be complete.. I will be posting pics sometime tomorrow..

any ideas on the best way to get it out?

Pray a lot. And have plenty of time. You'll need to go to confession afterwards from all the cussing!!!

In all honesty, just make sure you get all the screws and bolts out...don't yank it really hard or stuff will break. It's a good idea to lower the steering column...you won't get it out otherwise.

P.S. What'd you do to your seats??

yep taking the dash out sucks! make sure you do a good job on it the first time!

All I can say is you beter get some really good plastic paint. Painted plastic parts hardly ever keep their color good and chip.

i agree, dont pull hard if it wont come out, i broke my windsheild pulling on it when it wouldnt come out.

VHT interior medium blue paint, and PAINTERS TOUCH gloss black

the blue was not exactly what I was lookin for, but it kinda grew on me!!!

and then for everything that will get touched alot, I hit it with 3 coats of clear coat, for added protection...

no matter how you do it, it looks like you have decent skill with a spray can, and thats half the battle
