Has anyone ever done them on one of our cars? I think it would be sweet as hell. I know they make them for cars like the Probe and the RX-7. I dont wanna do a complete front end conversion because that would definatly be way too much $. Anyways let me know. Thanks

so the lude headlights are probably the closest for a stationary headlight? Would i have to get new fenders and hood and all that too?

probably not, just cutting, molding/bondo, definitly some custom work. but then almost everything you do on the 3g has to be custom. that's all in the fun though.

There have been 3 prelude conversions that I know of. One of them was for sale in the market place a while back and was a red color and was the sweetest 3g I have ever seen. I tried searching but I can't find it. Anyone know which one I'm talking about?

how about something like these on this miata, this guy lives here in my city. i'd thought maybe i could try making something similar to these for mine since aligning the headlights to the hood is somewhat a bitch. since they wont load on 3geez for everyone, COPY AND PASTE em to the address bar. dont click to go directly to it because it doesnt work.

yeah, i think that would be rather simple and practical to make. but finding some good bright lights that will fit in there may be a problem, probley some kinda of driving light or off road light. i dont think i will try making those too soon though.

i dont like it. whats wrong with the flipup head lights?

the prelude looks like it needs new fenders/hood unless you custom bondo it!

the miata/rx7 stationary mod looks good, but you got to keep in mind our flipup headlights isnt flat like theirs. We have a slight angle on the headlight panel so it might be tough to get plastic that angles like our stock lines.

the miata ones look like if water can seep through to the black bottom of the housing. Is there a drain somewhere? Would be rather odd if there were water spots in the lense on the inside.

Vanilla yea we should try some stuff. We need to meet up for real. I wish i coulda gone to that festival but i work. I have to take off 2 weeks ahead of time in order to get a day off. So we gotta plan a meet and make it big...

If made out of plexiglass it it absolutely no problem to heat that stuff up and bend it into any shape you need. as far as a drain goes I would imagine a hole in the bottom would be no problem and the heat from the headlights would burn out any bit of excess condensation that got in there.
