i was wondering if the b20 is DOHC? and also what kind of turbos are there for it. i want to do a swap soon but i want a dohc, so if the b20 doesn't have a dohc, then i might get b18.

an engine i would love to have is a k20 from a rsx

The B20 is a DOHC engine, it's also probably the easiest swap for the 3gee, don't plan on a B18 unless you got some money laying around. If I were you I'd just go with a turbo kit from Sean for the A20, he's putting down some great numbers with it. There aren't any swaps done with the K20, so that's another case of alot of money, that probably wouldn't even be worth it, I think the K-series motors spin the opposite direction anyways, so you get to flip everything around.

what is the best b20 or all they the same? what car are they origanally out of? (so i can look for turbos) oh also, what is "seans turbo" is he a member, or is there a website for it? what kinda numbers?

im such a n00b!!!

oh btw, i noticed you own a ford taurus sho, i own a 88 taurus lx. it blew 2 head gaskets at the same time, and been in my garage for over a month.

Heh, well, the SHO is a whole 'nother breed of car, it's got a 220 hp Yamaha 3.0 and a Mazda 5 spd. tranny. Not quite like your Taurus really. Anyways, the B20A is out of JDM Accords and the US Gen 2 Prelude IIRC. The B20Z is out of the CR-V, I think the B20A probably just has a better torque curve or power band, I think their peak horsepower is the same. I haven't kept up with Sean's turbo project too much since I bought my SHO, but I think he was pushing over 300 whp for a couple grand.

Oops, I forgot to tell you, Sean is a member of the board here, look in the performance section, he has several threads stickied on turbo numbers, pricing, setup, etc. etc.
