Jax, FL meet sometime in JUNE

i would like to meet up somewhere in jax... that gives me 3 in jax, another in palatka, and vinny from valdosta who like road trips will come, too...

even if all we do is grap a bite, some pics, and hang out for a while, that's cool... there's plenty of places in jax to go and TONS of shit to do...

is crescent beach the closest beach you can drive on the beach itself? that would be cool... get some sunset pics from both sides, east and west...

so what do you guys think? it's still open for ideas... where, when, who... i think this is the one... lets go for it

That's tight, I live in Jax too, so if any of you have questions about the area let me know. I'll see if I can make it. I should be able to as long as I'm not out of town. Meeting downtown would be tight like by the Landing or the Riverwalk cuz there is lots of stuff to do in walking distance plus great food. Also, maybe we could cruise down to St. Augustine which has really tight beaches and is just a cool area to chill.

downtown sounds great and all, but can we find parking for say 10 cars together without having to walk 15 miles?

yea theres really nothing going on around here for a while but like i said b4...i need a few weeks to make sure i can get work off. But i think this meet will be big and that would be awsome. Anyways, theres no big things going on downtown or anything for a while so we should all meet up at St. Augustine and walk around "Old St. Augustine" in the shopping area and we can eat and stuff. We should look into that Vanilla, me and another car crew went there on day and it was actually pretty cool. Theres Ripplys Believe it or not, tours, mo-peds, etc. Theres alot to do there...just an idea

ok guys, we're meeting at the outlet mall... the paticular mall has yet to be chosen, but i think we should do it at the new one, the one that's enclosed... then we'll kinda play it by ear from there... mattphi tells me that there is a gokart track in the area, i think that's a great idea... i wish we had a place we could set up for a make-shift autocross track for us to run on... that would be fun as hell...

Yeah if we do meet in St. Augustine I think there are a couple of beaches we can drive on like oasis beach but i'm not sure, yeah the family fun center is tite even tho i got kicked off the go karts for doing donuts last time ;) Paint ball is right there too and Old St. Augustine should offer some tite photo opportunities for our cars, ya know like the whole exotic old spanish fort theme type thing, cannons and stuff are everywhere

yea i dunno about the whole beach thing lol last time i went out there i got stuck like 3 times...lmao we got kicked outta Adventure Landing last night for "bumping". I got like 4 warnings then he was like "excuse me sir ur gonna have to leave". Definatly Old St. Augustine would have great picture places. man, it's 10 AM at the bealls outlet mall... from there, we'll find some lunch, then go cruisin, then go to the beach... after that, if the guys are up to it, there's a lot of photo ops in palatka, which is 25 minutes away... might be a great idea... even if only a couple wanna come... the pics in palatka, if it happens, will be at night, though... but we may come across a few dumbassed ricers... i do wanna get some basic pics somewhere along the way, maybe at the beach...

Dont get me started with "Fat Point"!!! It looks like we both got there for the same thing.

I was told that there is some kind of black and white 3rd gen Accord around Punta Gorda and Port Charlette (cant spell) i guess some kind of zebra Accord, i dont know.

Ok guys so i dont know if i will be able to make it...i have been to like 3 different place to fix this damn camber problem on the drivers side front wheel...AND NOONE CAN DO IT. So unless i get it fixed by friday, i wont be able to make it. It pisses me off to no end because i put all my new suspension on and the camber kit...and yet, noone can comprehend how to fix it. Thank you for your support vanilla, I really appriciate it. I am bummed that i wont be able to meet up with all of you guys, but I feel alot better about it knowing that you guys understand. I havent seen the "zebra" 3g yet, but ill keep an eye out for it, that'll be good for a laugh. And yes, the whole translation of Punta gorda is quite funny, I agree. You will notice when talking to people over here that they get pissy when you pronounce it "poonta" hehehehe Anyway, Im taking the wifey and kids out to dinner, so I will talk to you huys later.

Does anyone on the board know anything about the company HONEYWELL, I know they are located in clearwater (about an hour and a half north of me) But If they really are RockwellCollins' biggest competitor, then I may just have a job offer, as Im sure they would love to steal me away from Rockwell. meet wasn't bad at all... would have been uber cool to have the cars on the beach at night though (we didn't take them on the beach at all due to the $5 fee to go on the beach with a car, and if you park in the free parking lot, you can walk over the dunes and use the beach for free)... i think the next north florida meet will be a daytona beach meet, ON the beach, with an early trip to the junkyard... i think that's a good idea... 3 of us were getting pics, so keep your eyes on the pics section for pics of the meet!!!
