has anyone ever seen this, I saw it in the jc whitney catalog and looked around online, sounds like it works pretty good.

I have the original too. It's fun to play around with, supposedly pretty accurate.

I want a Gtech so freakin bad. How does it get your horsepower numbers? Do you have to put in the weight of the car and things like that? Nm, actually took the time to read the link.

Yeah, you put in the weight of the car and then you can set it for quarter mile or 0-60 ( I think..i haven't used it forever). It's just an accelerometer. You can also set it up to measure lateral g's.

Heh, I need to attach some SFC's and see what I can pull with the SHO in lateral G's, it's supposed to be capable of a .81 or something. Very deceiving handlers.

are these meters really accurate? Its good for before and after reference numbers but..as far as being accurate I'm a little skeptical about it. Anyone want to enlighten me on their accuracy and precision?

i have it set up right and when you use it you should run it completely straight and level... Its pretty accurate, ive gotten it within 1-2 tenths in the 0-60 and 1/4 mi but the trap speed seems high and ive never tried the dyno function... if you do you need to know the weight of your car. For $40 i paid (ebay) it was a deal... get one

you dont need a weight value to run 0-60 or 1/4 mi times... you need one just to get a hp estimation
