lude tranny on 3g

I've read on how it's possible to put a 2g lude tranny on a 3g, does that go for automatics as well? If so, is it worth it? Are the ratio's any better? I'm looking for different options, considering my tranny is f@#ked.

Trying to remember a very old thread here....

The tranny will bolt into the car no problem as long as its from an Si. There are some diferences in the shift selector linkages though. The accord cable wont attach to the prelude trans and the prelude cable wont swap into an accord. I forget who it was that pulled the swap off or what he did to make it work but I do remeber he had to hack something up on the cable.

No not yet. Hopefully he gets it to me soon. The bores are starting to rust and the way the car is sitting I can't get the hoist over to it if I end up having to pull the motor.
