94 Accord Coupe

Hey guys... my brother just got a 1994 Honda Accord... It's a coupe, 2 door, whatnot.... I was wondering which model came with the 2.2L VTEC... was it the Ex, Lx, Lxi, Special Edition? I'm not sure if it's the F22, or the F23 that's VTEC... I know they're both Single Overhead Cams... It'd just be nice to know, so we can start ordeing engine parts, before we get it. I believe the one he's getting is either an LX or an EX... Either way, i know it only makes about 140 hp. Thanks guys.

f22b1 has vtec (only the EX had this option)
f22b2 is the lx/dx non vtec

Yup those cars are slow i beat my friends 94 accord with pullys, header, Injen intake, plugs exhaust and bigger piping. and i beat him with only intake and exhaust so i dont really car for those cars lol. There nice but not worth my time. Lx model are even slower. But all in all your bro can make it fast with alot of mods i guess

hey....... my 97 lx is faster stock then any non turbo, no nitrous a20a1/a3!!!
unless your car is faster then any other near stock accord, i highly doubt you beat a 94 coupe with all that stuff!

race me... just race me lol... I cant tell you how many accord kills i have, particularly 4g but some 5g. Anyway 94-97 was vtec only in EX... lx/dx no way. 135hp non vtec, 140-145hp vtec.

im just saying, you drive a stock 17 second car, i know I HAVE ONE, i also have a 5th gen, is it fast? no, but i can atleast make in into the mid to high 15's in it, niether one of them are race cars, but stock to stock, the 5th gen is way faster,

so put equal mods on them and theres still no way he won!

and the h22/h23 drops right in, theres even more aftermarket support!

Uhh ive owned a bunch of 3gs, 4gs (slowest, also F22 powered) and 5gs and the 5g was the fastest stock but as for the f22 having way more potential... forget it, maybe a little more but youre not gonna be running faster than mid 15s with that motor n/a with an i/h/e and pulleys etc, big deal, i run 16.2 on a20 with weight reduction, and no muffler (minor tuning), thats faster than my 5g by a fair amt (both are 5 speed). The only thing a 4/5g has over a 3g is that you can swap in an H22a with minor mods and different wiring.

I beat my friends 94 ACCCCCCORD EX 2.2 VTEC AUTOMAGIC lol. and with Injen itake, OBX Power Pullys, 4-1 Wannabe JDM HEADER, 2 1/4 exhuast piping and Matrix DTM Muffler. And i smoked his ass in the 1/8 off launch to the end of the track by 4 cars EASY. so yeah thats a ex to. So i dont know what your saying with all this that they all fast. Just cuz is a F22 and vtec doesnt mean shit. And were did i say i was racing a h22 in this LMAO. I got videos of me beating this ex and its sorry. I only got ported an polish head and plugs, wires, Exhaust piping to 2.5, and exhaust shaved flywheel and exedy clutch, Custom short ram. No need for that vtec. lol.
