cant shift into any other gear

i have an 89 lxi accord that wont go in any gear but rev. does anyone know how to change shifter cable without taking trans out?????? 4cyl/at trans. thanks to all for help

Sorry but I have never touched a Honda auto tranny. You should be able to change the cable without removing the tranny, that sounds like something GM would do. Try downloading the shop manual from here: http://www.pauldesign.ru/honda/shopmanual.html
