Good deal, but I've heard horror stories from friends about Geico and how they handle claims.

Mine is around 650 for 6 months with one accord with no collision. That good? Keep in mind I have had one ticket, 20 over, and I am 20 years old with one accident reported.

well that depends... im kind of the same in some respects. Im 21 (i hear when you turn 21 you insurance goes down up to 25%) do they have the points system in Pa? I only have 2 pts for a reduced speeding ticket (well actually racing but... they dont know that) no accidents ever, 2 accords liability only, for $660/6 mos thats a deal

Geico blows... they want more than twice what I pay now to insure me. Just because they are lower than your current company doesn't mean they are the lowest... the trick is to find a good local agent who is willing to manipuplate a good price for you. :D I am paying about $240 every six months for two cars liability only through American Family because my agent kicks ass (Geico wanted $580 every 6). If you are serious about wanting to save money on car insurance, call around your town and get some quotes, or go to www.progressive.com and they will give you 5 local quotes along with their own when you fill out their online app.

Yeah we have the point system here. I got 4 points deducted for going 20 over. But that goes off my record at the end of the year. But if i got stopped for any reason from now to the end of the year, I would lose my license. But im glad im getting a good deal at 660 for 6 months. Thanks.

Insurance prices are nuts here. I know guys in their early 20s who don't even bother buying a car (even an old beater) because they can't afford the insurance prices. I am 34 and married no accidents, no tickets. I have full coverage on 2 cars and I pay 1700 per year. Age is a huge factor.

I have a friend at work who was quoted 6000$ per year for liability only (kind of car doesn't matter for liability only) So instead of the 6000$ car, he rides in a 100 000$ bus :thumbdown :)

I pay a retarded $2600 a year for my accord, no collision, but it covers any mods I want to do to it.

Sad thing is, that is cheap insurance around here. Most of my friends are paying at least $3400/year, for the same coverage on slightly newer cars. Luckily I have no accidents, no tickets (well one photoradar but it doesnt affect insurance) and I have taken drivers ed and all.

Then I called my insurance company and asked about insurance on a 1992 Celica Alltrac Turbo, and they quoted me $2600 a year, but then, this is where they kill you, that if I wanted collision, it would be $4600/year. I can't wait till I turn 25, and my insurance goes down.

Or I wish I was a girl... lol j/k.... It sucks though, cuz guys here pay sooo much more for insurance than the girls do. My sister, who is now 20, but was 19 when she was driving my accord, was paying something like $1800/ year full coverage, and this was with our old insurance company who was more expensive, and wanted $3600/year for liability and theft for me on a civic.

i had geico for over 5 years right now. no problems. i started out with $1200 for a full year, they have been droping it slowly. i am paying $320 every 6 month. one day i thought i would find cheaper insurance company. well i called everyone and they all quoted me the same price i am paying now.
i am turning 25 this june and my rate should go down even more.
i only had one accident and it wasn't my fault, i got rearended, geico doesn't care.
and one speeding ticket, and again they don't care.
my rate never went up, they always droped.

actually that's beginning to change, as statistically girls are becoming more aggressive as drivers, and thus their insurance is going up, at least where i am this is true.

I had 2 accidents and 2 tickets on my record when I first got my 3g. I was paying 275 a month for insurance. Since then no tickets, 1 not at fault accident and one they never knew about. I pay $112 a month for the state minimum coverage with $500 comprehensive and no collision.

Yeah on your parents policy...
I am 18 and my parents live in TX now so I had to get my own policy and with my two speeding tickets and a 6 month lapse in insurance I pay about 900 every 6 months. its a company that works through progressive. by far the cheapest that I have called around too. I paid 312 down and 4 payments of about 150.

after 6 months it will drop. Oh well thats live.

ha ha ha Geico would have been $20 more a month for me. I check with all the major companies and they all wanted around 120 for basic. I have some company that up in the great lakes area and I pay 50 now.

Reminds me when I had a 85 prelude and was paying like 70 a month. Then all of a sudden it jumped to 160 a month. (just for liability-no tickets or accidents)
I called them and they gave me some bull#$@!. I looked around and got full coverage for 80 dollars a month.

Two years ago I switched from Allstate to Geico. My rate went from $495 to $240 every 6 months. Liability only, 44 y.o., married, no accidents or tickets in the last 5 years.

try farmers, their a better company, probably same price, and you'll have one person to talk to that knows everything about your policy instead of a different person every time. If you live in washington....call me and I'll give you insurance :D

How about you guys move to Arizona and pay some real auto insurance installments. Take me for example. Good grades, zero accidents, zero tickets, drive my 3gee, and drive it only to school and around on weekends, this is for a year now, and my parents still pay a good $220 a month. That's a damn brand new car pament...we're aware of this correct? And just think, they have 2 more of my scenarios coming down the street sooner than they'd like to imagine. Lucky them...

i have 1 ticket from when i was 15 in Mississippi. that fortuately didnt show up, dont know how. maybe its because i live in Texas? i dunno. anyway, just for me on my 3gee its about $800 every 6 months, im 17 now, going on 18 a few months. and i have no other traffic infractions or what ever, no bullshit parking tickets or warnings! i gotta keep that up if i dont wanna pay more, and i know my prices are going up soon anyway. thats kinda stupid cuz my insurance dont pay for shit! liability sucks ass! an i'm going to be putting my shelby dakota on my own insurance. its a V8 too, so that might suck. i should put it as a work truck or something, i dunno.
