Trunk Rattle... Dynamat?

I got a horrendeous(sp?) trunk rattle.

Been debating getting some dynamat, will it actually quiet up rattles _outside_ of the car?

I have 2 15" JL w3v2's the car sounds real nice till you get near the trunk.

get some of that tar stuff that someone was talking about that is similar to dynomat's stuff. who the hell was talking about that, what was the stuff again, I wanna know too cause my rear rattles to every bump of my box, plus wanna get it to boom more spl with that layer of the stuff like dynomat

the adhesive that holds your trunklid skin to its frame may be busted... i'm getting ready to do a shaved lid and while i'm at it, i'm gonna grind the adhesive out and have it welded...

I had a hella rattle in my trunk, without having subs and it was driving me insane.
It ends up the 2 corss bars for the counterweights were rubbing on this little J hook, so I bent the hook back.

yeah, that's another common one on this model of car... and it pisses a lot of people off... like me...
