I have one of the new kenwoods and it is excellent.....it plays mp3's, has the motorized fold down face, the face is tiltable, awesome graphics, all the options....all for about 300-400$ The kenwood excelon's are also excellent for the price. JVC's are also good for the money IMO.

i have alpine cdm-7871, i got it on ebat for $150. it is the best one i had so far. it has all preouts and has lot of things to play with (bass controls, sub controls, trible controls). i think you can find nice alpine on ebay under $300.

WHAT EVER DECK U LIKE!!! DO U STILL HAVE THE STOCK DECK?
U SHOULD UPGRADE THE HOLE SYSTEM!! DECK , SPEAKERS, AMPS, SUBS, ETC... THATS WHAT I DID!! I PURCHSED A SONY CDMP-70 DECK AND FOUR 2 WATTS SPEAKERS..I AM ALSO GONNA INSTALL 2 SUBS , 1 CAPACITOR, CROSSOVER, TWEETERS, 2 MORE 6 1/2 , 1 CD - 1 MD CHANGER.. GO FOR THE GUSTO

I have a kenwood KDC-217s, its inexpensive ($220CAN) but very effective, plays cdr/cdrw

Stay away from the Rockford decks. I had one and it was cool but didn't last long. I would Say to go with Pioneer, Kenwood, or Alpine.

Decks dont get much better than Pioneer BABY! they make the best decks in my opinion, and they should have one for you in your price range.

im getting the new alpine deck...the one that fits into one deck but the faceplate is 1.3 size din....its 550-700 dollars tho depending on where you get it...because on cruchfeild its 700 and i saw it online somewhere for 550...its a really nice head unit

go for kenwood. it produces nice sound.

get the Pioneer Premier DEH-P740MP...3 pre-amp outputs, MP3 player, XM ready (if you want to waste $10 a month) retails for $400 but if you goto www.ike-sound.com you can get it for $279 shipped. PLUS it has the OEL organic display plus 2 screen savers...which are awesome...

Personally I love Alpine, Rockford Fosgate, or Sony. Pioneer also makes great stuff, just dont get Kenwood
