speedo cable

i took my cluster out, now the cable wont go back into the back of the cluster.. i can get it clipped, but the splines dont line up and it wont turn...

any tricks??

the plastic clip probably slided out.
push it back and try it again.
or just push the damn cable, that is what i did and it worked for me.

i guess ill have to take the cable out of the tranny and push up so that ill be able to push it back into the cluster... damn.. its gonna be a bitch

Pulling the cable out of the tranny isn't hard. There's one clip that holds it in. It comes out pretty easy too. It's just a pain in the ass to line it back up to put it back in.
