hey guys finaly getting my new exhaust fitted on monday, its a 2 1/4 from the manifold all the was through with a hi flo cat and resonater. what sort of hp gain should i expect from this system, and will there be a big defferance in the way it drives?

you won't notice much of a hp difference, it will probably accelertate better in the higher rpms but don't expect like 15 extra ponies cus you won't get it...hp imo is mostly in the egine bay and what you do to it, ie cam, pistons and ofcourse turbo. don't even get me started on no2 that's just some dangerous stuff.

our cars LOVE to breath, so the more you help em out, the more you'll feel. I bet the 'buttdyno' will tell you 10 or so horses. Get a header and you'll notice a bit more power.

like Caleb said, a header would free up much more hp that a stock manifold cause of its smooth turbular mild steel compared to a steep cast iron. u would be amazed by the acceleration of the car and the power band goes all the way up to the redline with a header and full exhaust. Now its time to get urself some headers ;) u got a CAI, advance ur ignition a couple of degrees.

the first thing I got was a header, and you will notice a difference in the power and the sound. :)
