hi gang,

I am working on a 1984 accord, it had sat for 10 years and i just finished the carb o/h.

Prior to the removal of the carb i had a flooding condition. Now i have no fuel at all.

I removed the lines to the carb to check for fuel. I checked all the obvious.

It seems electric in nature, i doubt the pump failed in 2 days.

where can i look to find the fuel pump relay? I have clear lines from the tank to the pump. what else should i check?

thanks

bink

have you checked the fuse for it?

pulaski..!? must be the northern half of WI?

thanks for the tip. here's what happened.

I removed the pump so i could test it and I noticed a small dribble of gas, not leaking from the hoses.

I began looking at the metal line that comes off the pump and runs to the rubber lines to the tank.

the metal was totally rotted away, so the pump was working, but was sucking air through the metal lines.

all is well and all the metal fuel lines will be replaced.

i love an easy (cheap) fix.
