any one knoe how to do this. i got the upper part off. however i can't get the bolts on the underside that hold to the head. has anyone done. i pretty sure the manifold and head dont come off as an assembly.

I HATE PISTON ENGINES !!!

the head and intake manifold can come off as one... or you can try to fit the socket between the cracks in the manifold to get to the lower bolts.

it is very hard to get the intake manifold off without removing head.
the best solution i found was to raise the front and slide under the front and work from under the car.

alright...now i need help with tha exhaust manifold-to-exhaust pipe bolts.....are there some trick or do they just need straight up elbow grease.

sometimes they come out easy but sometimes they are pain in the ass.
on my new car they were rusted so i just cut the damn down pipe off and got rid of the damn header. oh, yeah i probably should say that i changed to pacessetter header.

are there any mods neccesary for the pacesetter header or is it direct fit. i finally got the heads off. Yaaay.
