I want a new updated system for my 89 Accord LX. Right now i have a old Viper security system and its been a good system. I want a new top of the line one, what are the best brands/models and how much will i have to spend? My neighborhood is usally safe but it hasn't been as much last 6 months my neighbor has had his 2 cars stolen! So i want a good system and a lojack on it. It may be a chunk of money but its still cheaper then a new car..

Compustar... just make sure you get the one with the blue remote, the black remote systems suck.

i would go with high end Viper or Clifford. if you don't care about the cost, well you can get clifford for $1500 installed with everything on it. the alarm will page you and even have gps tracking and so much more.
