Okay my car died while I was driving like three times. Each time I was stopped at a traffic light. What could be wrong?? I suspected it was the fuel pump and did a test according to the Hanes manual and if i did it right then the test failed. I pulled the fuses and its good...I have new filters the one in the engine and the one in rear. Is it possible to test the fuel cut off relay? What else could tested before I spend about $100 on new fuel pump. I have extra fuel pump but it is the external model. Is it possible to install for now and if so where is the best place? Please Help :sadwave: :dunno:

Why did you put trans in the title?
You can bypass the fuel cut...

Hey you know that see-thru fuel filter you gave me. Well you said that fuel supposed to flow for a while when the key is turned to on right. Well when I turn the key to on I dont see any fuel flowing through the filter. Thats why I suspected it was the pump. I also changed the rear filter since it was inexpensive but i guess thats not the problem. It takes a while to start but it will start eventually I dont why it doesn't shut off immediatly after but as soon as I start driving then it will probaly shut off at any time. I dunno whats wrong.

You should a hear a quiet humming noise for about 2 seconds from the tank when you turn the key to ignition. Or you can disconnect the fuel hose from the fuel rail and have someone check if fuel comes out when you turn the key to ignition. If there's no humming noise or no fuel coming out, it's most likely your main relay thats faulty. Try removing the main relay and resoldering it if it's faulty.

hmm hopefully I will be out of school by then, I have class that ends about 1:00 pm sometimes but sometimes it can go to about 3:00pm... I start class again at 5:30 so that gives me about 2hrs.
