Help!!!!!

ok, well a new thing popped up today. i had to stop at Advance Auto and get my battery and all tested. when i slowed down to stop at a few lights it would die. the rpm's would drop to like 500 and it just stopped. the battery light would come on and i would have to restart it. after the test they said the battery is good but at a low charge. he told me to go to my mechanic and tell him at normal running rpm's it is good, but when i slow to a stop it gets bogged down and dies. i've got a major trip i have to leave for tomorrow and i can't have this crap keep coming up. AHHHHHHH! HELP!!!!
