I'm tuning up my carb and I have an external tachmoter to get the rpms just right. It has a black ground and a green wire clips. Where do I hook these up? I assume somewhere to the distributer or ignition coil, but how? Also, where's the best place to put the ground?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Shawn
Hey snapper!
The speed signal wire is the blue one that goes from your distributor to your coil. You have to tap into it somehow.

Thanks, I'll give it a shot this weekend.

One more question, how do most of you adjust the idle on your carbs? Do you just have a spotter in the car looking at the rpms to get the idle just right or do they use an outside tachometer like I'm trying?
