that is more like hot air intake.
i bet he lost some HP because of that.

I agree with Alex.....Putting it there is no good due to the hot air from the exhuast manifold goes straight into the air intake. They would been better leaving it stock!

Haha, I'm actually laughing my ass off here. That the stupidest thing I've ever seen!

Well it's a good try, but it's pulling more hot air then before and i can't imagine that the dryer tubing stays very cool.

he could have put a heat shield under it. putting it above the exhaust manifold and cylinder head aint too smart eh? could have run it down to the bumper area or something.

WTF!!
you know what though he deosnt have a bad idea about leaving the stock cover on there. SInce it already clears the hood and all. I was thinking about cutting the black air box over the carb in half and then welding some pieces here and there and making a fabbed up civic intake run into the fender.

:ugh: .......

Yeah That would be more like a short ram intake. But its still got all the stock bs on there. WTF was the guy thinking. He was better off with the stock, at least he got cold air from somewhere with the restriction.

AccordArizona89

well it looks like its very bendable and maybe he should shove it down to were he can get cold air

all he's gotta do it move the battery and widen that hole up and he's got cold air...
If its dust collector hose from industrial equiptment then it might not be as bad since they usually have a very smooth interior lining.

That's a great idea guys! don't knock this guy's car! That $5 air filter and his dryer tube must add wicked power! Not only that but check out the carbon fiber insert on the oil cap for added weight reduction and I hope he kept the second air filter in the factory airbox because it will re-clean the air from the first filter insuring that his engine pulls in the cleanest air availible to it.

Good job to whomever did work on this engine.

Someone make this sticky thread on how to power up you carb motor!

im guessing it was put there temporarily while he was moving things so he could make it a cold air and thought it was funny so he took a picture.
