ah, i see you joined up on the VAC. My screen name is Hondasport19 on that board, and there are about 6 or 7 other 3rd gen owners there. The VAC is having a meet on the 4th of Aug. at Richmond Honda, which is the next big meet.

ya but arenthere going to be alot of Newer hondas ? that board is for all makes and models (well from what i see )
anyway i'm just trying to hold a small get to gether
... if you know a few guys with 3rd gens let them know

i was just browsing the member list, and including yourself, we have 13 registered members who are 3rd gen drivers. Mind you about half of those have yet to post or come out to a meet, there are about 6 that post quite often and come out to meets. Its not the biggest 3gen turnout you will see, but its as good as it gets right now........you should drop by richmond honda on aug, 4th and hang out for a bit and get to meet some of the guys.

i'm planing on going to Cali for a 3 geez meet on Aug 31 .. so hopefully i will have everything done by then ..

How much was it? Also, who's doing the install and what are they charging?? Unless they are really good, I think it's a project that will take more than a weekend. Did you figure out what to do about the axles, mounts, header, wiring, etc?? I really do hope you are successful with the swap.

i paid 1000 for the Vtec prelude engine ( it's from a 2001 LUDE)
i'm going to pay up too about 1000 - 1500 for install
and the guy is my friends Uncle he has about 20 year exp . with everything to do with cars

Sounds like a good swap. I'd love to hear how it turns out and the performance difference. Maybe if I ever have that kind of cash, your friends uncle would do a swap for me too ;)

damackz: Unfortunately I won't be able to attend any meets for a month or two. All of my paycheques go to debt and saving for insurance so I can't afford the gas to drive to Vancouver and back (about 800km total drive).
