is your lxi an automatic transmission??

a manual transmission on the B20a is hard to find.

i just know that.

Yea try to tack down a transmission before you place a bid on that. I searched for 3 months and could not find a 5 speed.
I was gonna do a B20A but I gave up that pipe dream for a Teg instead.

I think that B20 is the one that needs a new mount to fit in our 3rd gens. From what I read when I was thinking about it, the JDM B20 fits, but the Prelude B20 slopes the wrong way. I'm not totally 100%, but there are tons of threads about this.. - just run a search on the site. Anyways, I came to the same conclusion as K-roy; the teg is just more logical. Acura is meant to be a Honda with more style and performance, so you have more potential to go further. I don't mean to be disloyal to my 3g, but its not exactly perfomance oriented ( ok, so its really slow!- damned auto)
Anyways, pay attention to their disclaimer; I think they don't realize that the domestic and JDM B20s are different.
My buddy has a B16 in his 91 teg and a T3/T4 turbo. The thing pulls like crazy at 7psi with a stock engine, and I want to do the same mod on a B20...... turbos rock!
Anyways, I'd say my 3rd gen is the epitome of durability, but an acura can get me pulled over. If I put enough money into it, it'll put me on the wanted list.

Actually this is the correct JDM Accord B20A. This same motor was listed a while back as a 3rd gen Prelude B20A, which was incorrect. You may want to check out this thread:

about the 5 speed transmissions. If we can locate a source for these, then these B20A/auto motors floating around out there will become much more valuable.

I would get it and look for a tranny after you purchase it. They may even be able to locate one for you. Also, if you are serious about this ask Robt5580 he may be able to help you out and he is from CT as am I.

yea I don't know why they list it as a lude engine which is B20A3, but you can see it says B20A...... aka JDM 3g accord. :D

Thats not a good deal if you ask me your looking at $900 shipped with no tranny. I didnt want to but i have a nice complete setup that i just got and is the nicest you will find. I picked it up from a member about a month ago. It has everything you will need here it is http://members.aol.com/gaby4883/b20a1.jpg email me if you serious and have the money. The only reason why i want to sell this right now is so i can finish up my turbo project faster. Im in CT so i can meet up and drop it off if need be.

Oh and the swap is as easy as it will get with any swap just use your intake manifold or you can use this one since its actually the 88-89 style anyway. This swap has everything you need the only thing you should get is the integra distributor to keep it vacuum advance to keep it simple. This is as easy as it gets as far as swaps go.

Taht engine is way too expensive... don't forget that they are located in Canada... add at least $150 for custom charges... so you're close to 1100 bucks for an unknown engine...

I can get auto ones for $400 CDN...
