wheres the knock comming from...

i start up my car everythings cool...drive around for maybe a mile...stop then pop into first and i feel something knocking i shift to second and its gone...its only in first...this happens everytime im driving and when ever i shift from a dead stop to first...

i put some of that stop engine knock shit in my motor and the knock is still there also put some in my tranny cause it was dooing that...please help....

you say its only in 1st gear when you get a knock. that can depend on what the rpm is that your at when its happening. i know you'll get a little knocking sounds from low rpm's in 1st gear sometimes. i'd think its just that your not taking it high enough when taking off or something. that would be with a manual tranny. if its with an automatic, it could be something loose in the tranny like the rings or something like that. you didnt give much info, so you need to tell what tranny you have.
