i wouldn't change it. I'd even paint the "DOHC VTEC" logo black to match the rest of the valve cover. Clean up the engine bay but keep the outside looking the way it is. Stick a DX sticker on the back for an added touch.

from what i see i doubt that. The motor would have to be built for 200+. Hed have to have cams, 4-1 jdm header, and a different intake manifold(or a gsr man moded like mine will be :) ) That car doesn't look that bad just needs a wash

Why does everyone have to piss on Mikes car, or Steve's or Steve's or Juans. Whats REALLY wrong with a B series motor? I mean hell while we are at it lets go piss on Rob's project, its a "b" and everyone else who's swapped. I think ALOT of people on here are buying into something that only a few people have actually seen and hating the "swap" guys. This craps getting kind of old. Everytime someone posts about a "b" of any kind someones gotta pull a turbo A20 outta their ass. Well guess what only 2 or 3 people have turbo A20's. Any of the "swap haters" have an A20?????? Nope, well except Sean. Its a damn 3rd gen accord either way. Thats what this site is about and why not make YOUR accord different from THEIR accord. Isnt that what its all about? I'd almost be willing to bet that the swap guys including the b20 clan has more money invested in their cars than ANY other member, except maybe guaynabo89 and maybe 2 or 3 others.

Heres the deal. If you haven't driven a swapped accord (I can say I have here in like 25 days...thanks Mike :D ) or ridden in Seans car (been there done that) I don't see where you have room to talk about either. Since anything you have to say thats postive or negative in based on "here say, speculation, and propaganda." You REALLY don't know so why rip on people.

I dont really have a problem with B motors, i just don't think its worth the time, money and hassle. I'd rather have a block thats stronger stock so i can beat it to hell. Sure, the C1 is hella strong to start with but its a B motor. I'm just not impressed with them. They have almost NO torque so you have to rev the shit out of em and wait for VTEC to kick in before you get any power.

I'm not saying my motor right now is better then any B motor, i just think that there are better ways to spend my time and money.

And for the record, i've always given props to the guys who have done the B-motor swap. All these guys have done a good job and have got some good numbers out of them. Its just not my bowl of rice. (har har)

LOTS of people on here bash, not directing things souly at you. I bet you'd be suprised at how quick a swapped car is. I know Jared swears by Juans, He's driven it (pretty sure, if not he's ridden in it). And the money thing really isn't even an issue. If the turbo route is so much cheaper than why arent there more people running them?

And to everyone...........Alot of the BS is directed at Mike/Matt. I know alot of you guys don't like him as a person or whatever. Look past the person and just look at the car and appreciate what he's done

Thats a total sleeper! It may not look like much but i can says its probably faster than most would think. I have driven 88Lxi68's car and that think pulls real hard and is fast as hell in my eyes. There seems to be a lot of jealousy on this site and people get bagged on all the time for doing new stuff. Everyone has there own agenda me personally i like the best of both worlds show and go. But for Mike/Matts car if i were livin in the city i would do the same as he did and put all my money in the motor and have a nice sleeper.

I was worrying during my swap whether the money would be worth it or not but as soon as I smashed it, I was hooked. A series guys cars are dropping off at 5500, mine starts pulling harder. That engine right there is truely a gem. The lack of torque is made up by the gearing. Plus there is more than 10x the amount of B performance parts than the A20 has available. I know most of the stats on this build and all I gotta say is holy shit, Im jealous. Its gonna take me a while to get my B up to those numbers. Oh and that engine right there can take as much boost as any of our A20s can. :) Get the facts.

Not another A vs B thread, jeez guys, it's just a different path to take. I can see wanting an engine that has already proven itself and has lots of already made parts. I can also see wanting to stick with the A and do things yourself, learning about the engine and it's limits as you go along. I personaly always have prefered the path less traveled which is why I'm sticking with my A and trying to get the most power out of it that I can. I'll admit I argue with Matt/Mike and Steve all the time that there B series sucks, but they know I'm just kidding and that it's really all about how much money your willing to spend.

i hate to go off topic. but ive been bashed in the past about my set up. all i can do is laugh now. and not like im talking shit. but i keep my silence most of the time and watch. and not to put all the light on me or steal the light from mike. but THE wickedaccord will be running on the same motor as it used to. just now it's pushing 205whp since the retuning session for MAX hp i did last thursday.

again, good job to all those who puts all their damn hard earned money and headaches into what they love doing most. well earned job in the end.

All these movie goers that talk like they know a thing or 2 but have only speculation and the words of others that probably dont know either. Most of us that do swaps or take the time to mod out cars spend more time thinking of there car and reading countless books and pages about them most people wouldnt even believe.

Its not a great looking car buts its in a state of transistion. Not to say I know anything about the engine and the work he did but Id drive and probably take the bashing most would give for doing so but what are they REALLY bringing to the table to support there reasoning flame on!!
