very nice as usual vinny. I'm still not use to the Erebuni kit...looks funny to me still. Oh well..lots of good effort put into this baby.

so you have hood pin inserts on your hood but no pin? Who used the pins before?

That would be me. The flush mount posts are pot metal, and one of them broke some. I gave them to Vinny, but hopefully he can come up with a better solution.

I was the first to see it all in person aside from Jay! Yay I feel so special!!!

Vin did you paint up the bumper before you took pics? (not the cover, the actual bumper..) Just looks different in the pics.

Very nice indeed! Just curious how much do you think you are going to ask for it come spring time? :)

Derek, they aren't "pins" for say its a lock setup. I think jay said spectre made it. Its a flushmount deal with a key, not a pin type

Rob, I painted the mouldings and bumpers yesterday right before I took the pics. Its not flawless but its not nasty looking as far as the discoloration I had on it before. Facking humidity is NOT your friend when it comes to paint. I taped it early in the morning and by the time I got to painting it had come up to like 90 or more percent humidity so the paint didnt atomize like it should have. It has a few "spit marks" in it that I'll try and wet sand out.

I think I'll be looking in the 1500 range in the spring when I let it go. It will be in stock trim.

Its going in tomorrow for tint, 20% all the way around. I'm half tempted to have them tint the entire front windshield but I dont think I'll press my luck right now. Hopefully my cam and camgear from the group buy will be in this week or early next and the SS lines should be in early next week as well. :D

Yeah, it's a lock type made by Spectre. I found it at AutoZone for $20 but I don't see it in many of them.

OK heres the hood lock setup, I found it. Its not a hairpin or a torsion pin like most people think. Its an actual lock kit not a pin kit

Nope, no body kits or any other things on this car. Like I said before it is going to be sold in the spring. I'm going to do some things to it that I can carry over to the next accord, but thats about it

Sweet Vinny, first time I've seen a Hood lock setup. Looks to be a little more sturdy than the pin setup. Did the carbon fiber hood come with a metal bar to hook to the OEM hood hook? (not sure on what it's called)

the lock looks neat, wish it was black so it be less eyecatching. at least this a tad more aerodynamic that the hoodpins..lol

What pins are those? and how did you install them? Thats exatly what I need when I put my hood on (it's whats keeping me from putting it on.)

thought of another question. How'd you get the grill on? I know the original Cf hoods don't have the holes for the bolts that hold the grill on.

The holes are there, you just need to tap them.

yeah, thats pimp. only think i'd suggest is that you paint the peeled/faded area around the rear windows.

I am buying one of those lock sets as soon as I get the money, they give the car more of an aggressive look too
