Yah so like, stupid design on Honda's part but I guess shit happens.....
Car won't start... no fuel. I've blown 8 Fuel cutoff relays in the past couple months... can't figure out why.... here's the factory setup...
Powersource - Switch - 15A Fuse - Cutoff Relay - Fuel Pump
So if you get a bad surge from the battery/alternator then the fuse will protect your relay and pump.... but in my case..... the pump motor was shorting out and drawing to much current blowing my Relays instead of the fuse cuz the relay was before the fuse..... after hours of testing for continuity and voltage, 4 relays later, 8 fuses later I came to the conclusion its the pumps fault. Its funny cuz the pump came on fine and fuel pressure was good for about 20 seconds before the relay would die..... and when I jumped the relay, the fuse would blow.... I though a short somewhere but ahh well, live and learn.
Well thats my story, thought maybe I could save someone the headache one day if they ever experience this problem.
On a good note..... the fuel pump is a joke to replace.... god I love hondas!!!!
