I think these days gas mileage is performance related...
What kind of mileage are y'all getting? Stick or auto? My car is getting 30 mpg

my 93 civic gets great mileage....i get 400 miles to the tank .... im not sure how big my tank is .... not bad for a civic with 250k on it ... it would probally get better if i wasnt at wide open throttle all the time

The best I've made is 5,9 litres/100km (39,5 MPG). This was on one of my longer trips to the southern part of Norway, and I was cruising @ 85 km/t (55 MPH) the entire tank. This was in the summer, and I was running on spiked winter tires (stock 175/70-13). Mods = DynoMax headerback. Fuel = 98-octane RON (93 octane ROZ).

My last full tank in the prelude netting me a whopping 6.5L/100KM This was after a full tune up, new oem exauhst, new head, new oilpan, new axles and wheel bearings. ohya, and w/5spd. But I "pussy-footed" and never reved more than 3k. IM sure if i layed into it it would be way lower.

Since we're getting into a metric mood:

I get about 7.8L / 100 km in the automatic SE-i with straight pipe and no other mods. Currently using Bosch Platinum +2 spark plugs and dirty old 02 sensors that have probably been in there since 1989.

A little side note: the Chev Aveo "economy sub compact" gets 9.6 L / 100km
and the toyota echo hatchback (don't know if you can get it in US yet) gets 5.5 L / 100 km. Just so you MPG people have reference. (lower #L / 100km is better)

Heh, my grandmothers VW Passat 1,9TDI gets 0,37 Litres/100km (63,5 MPG). That is sick.
