Been looking at things to finally complete my audio/video setup. Here's what I've picked out...

Headunit:

Power Acoustik PADVD-740R. DVD/MP3/CD/AM-FM unit, DTS capable.

Screen:

5.6 inch flipdown TFT. Nice viewing angle and it has integrated dome lights. That would go directly behind the sunroof and replace the factory dome light.

The best part of the two is the price. The headunit will run me a little over 120, and the screen will be about 80. Gotta love eBay :)

All together, the system will cost roughly 600 dollars. Anyone that's heard my setup will be impressed at that.

Opinions? Suggestions?

The screen looks good... it reminds me of the one I have under my bed that I forgot about until just now... I need to put it in!

Go for it!!! Post some pics and show how ya did it.

I've started collecting IMAX DVDs for the car. They're hella cheap, and sure they are imported but they're only subtitled which can be turned off.

Mostly playing 5.1 audio CDs... but I need a player with a digital out on it. That's why I want that headunit. Won't need to use that portable DVD player that i had at the meet anymore.

The processor can also do simulated 5.1 (circle surround) which sounds damn good with regular music, especially live DJ mixes and the like.
