as mr. miyagi from karate kid would say: "patience, daniel san" ...or was it concentrate?? well, whatever. lol.

yeah i did. my work is almost complete. i just have to figure out the hood vents and get the Evo 8 wing/ TRD celica wing then it's off to the paint booth she goes. while she's in there i'm finishing up the custom projectors and LED tails.

whats under the hood?

rebuilt A20A3 with intake/header/dual exhaust/ractive 3-core wires/NGK iridium plugs. nothing major like forced induction or internal work like that. im trying to get into car shows to win some money for an engine swap: low-compression built CRVTec with turbo and N02, w/ Y1 or S1 tranny. i fell in love with their CRVTec setups in the honda-tech forums. so that's my swap choice. but that would be 1-2 years from now. my next planned project for the car would be the custom fiberglass interior with the best audio stuff. i already drawn up the schematics for how all everything is laid out. the engine would be the last step since it's a show car and would never really see high speeds in its life anyways. for now the rebuilt A20A3 is torquey enough to zip the car around town for those weekend cruises.

you mean CRV B20? good choice. its lookin good. at least now we can see a clear pic of how its looks. if you dont mind, take some pix of how you did the dual exhaust. not the tips, but the piping underneath the car. i think i will end up running my y'ed off pipe under the center of the suspension. that looks like it will work. well, finish up already so we can see more pix!

yeah CRV B20b cus it's already low compression for turbo (8.8:1) compared to the B20z (9.6:1) and it's cheaper. it's the perfect B-series to get cus it's alot cheaper ($700-$800) considering you have to fork out $700 for Placeracing mounts and it has alot of torque. to do something about the top end, i'm going to mate that with either a CTR, ITR, GSR, or B16A2 Vtec (99-00 civic si) head using a B16A2 Vtec intake manifold or aftermarket B-series manifold like Edelbrock after i resleeve the block to handle the internal pressure load for turbo or supercharger since this engine is not meant to rev past 6500 rpm. bump it up a step further with turbo and NO2....or supercharge it with a jackson racing supercharger. that's the beauty of B-series...the possibilities seem endless.

about the exhaust, i suggest running it right under the passenger side rear axle. try to retain the stock piping route cus the heat shields are there to keep heat from the gas tank. it would be a bad thing to run it under the gas tank. you could blow yourself up if gas tank temperature rises or if the tank leaks and drops go on the hot exhaust.

i doubt i would be able to get it done by then. i wish i had all the time i want but school and work takes up alot of my time. i just do it little by little one day off each week. i hope you have a fun trip. be prepared cus we've been getting heavy thunderstorms here. it's very hot and humid in the day and thunderstorms around 4pm. that's FL for ya. not to mention the traffic-clogging tourists around this time of year. i wish you luck man.

I'm glad you like it bro. Thanks!

Looks good, when are you planning on hitting the paint shop?

I don't plan to....LOL. I got myself someone who works at a custom car paintshop who can do my paint alot cheaper. He gets free access to the paint booth to paint "his" car as part of his employee benefit. He'll do mine on a thursday or friday when the boss is away, then just finish the wetsand and polish at his house the next day cus he lives about 6-7 miles from me. He's doing it for $500 but I have to provide the paint, worth about $600, and do the prep work. I could do it myself, but I don't have the tools and paint booth to do it in..... and for that price, i'd rather save myself the trouble. So, $1100 for an otherwise $2500 paintjob.
