well im selling my old 89 accord to a junk yard....just not worth replacing the blown out moter on it
i found me a volvo 760 turbo for $300 thats gonna be my new project car

i saw a 740 volvo last night for sell. $2500 and it was turbo charged and intercooled. those things fast or what? never really looked at volvos.

I think that the turbo/intercooler volvos put out about 160-170 ponies. But you better hope you never have to fix it, a fuel pump alone on one of those is about $300. They are great cars, but I've sunk alot of money into a messed up volvo's fuel injection systems before giving up and having it towed.

with volvo's you have to buy a 2nd car of the same model for parts, because its almost always cheaper than

yeah, but volvo's are also dead reliable, so it's not like parts money is something you'll have to shell out on a weekly basis like my car. Good luck with it, if it's white you can call it the turbo fridge :D I love volvo's, kind of like an upscale Honda if you think about it, solid, reliable cars, with tons of potential.
