View Full Version : Cleaning K&N Filter For Carbed Air Box
I know that the guys at K&N specify on how to do this, but does anyone have any alternative methods of cleaning? I don't need to clean mine, but I was wondering about compressed air, what about that? Any methods that are out there I'd like to read about. Thanks.

Compressed air can damage a K&N (I know from experience), plus it would dry out all the oil.
Just drop the $10 on the cleaning kit, its well worth it.
Ah. Good deal then, yeah, that's what I was planning on doing anyway, when the time comes rolling around that is...heh. That's not for another good 5 months though. So I'm good till then.
