I was looking at my Helms manual and it says the 4 door center console (the one that surrounds the E brake) does not have the ashtray in the back of it. My coupe has an ashtray for the peeps who would sit in the back seat. Not that anyone smokes in my car... So, do you guys have ashtrays in the rear doors or somewhere else??? I always thought they were the same console, but the Helm's never loses, so I'm assuming it's right as usual. I am pretty sure you could use either console in your car though.

no, we have ashtrays on our doors near the botton

yup...there isn't one on the center console tho.

i have a spot where one would go. A little plastic piece covers it. nobody smokes in my car so i dont care.

I think that is your access plate that covers the 2 screws that hold the back of your console down. Sounds like your plate is missing.
