750 cash for a 87 Honda Accord LXi hatchback with 216,000 miles on it. It passed emmissions and doesn't burn oil... good car. I think it was good buy.

Looks like a good find bro.....put some work into it and I know you won't regret buying it. Welcome to the board.

Yup, it should last you a long time. What are your plans for it?

Plans for the radio:
Pioneer DEH-P4400
Pioneer XM Radio Tuner (already have)
XM Radio antenna (already have)
Pioneer 6 1/2" 3 way speakers
Pioneer 5 1/4 2 way speakers
Pioneer 4 channel amp (already have)

Exterior:
Drop springs... either dropzone of suspension techniques
17" rims... probably Rotas
New Honda symbol (someone jacked the factory one)
Black paint job

Performance:
Pacesetter full catback exhaust (to replace rusted factory)

This is my beater car.. my real project begins in a few months when I buy my civic hatchback!

I work at Best Buy so the car audio is cheap as hell too.

Gotta love the 80s custom gradient on the side!

Believe it or not.. I actually like the decals on the side! That's the reason I'm leaving painting it for last.

Yesterday I bought my Pioneer DEH-P4400 deck and my Pioneer 3 way 6 1/2 and Pioneer 2 way 5 1/4.... althought it looks like I have 6 1/2 all the way around

I also bought my 8 guage powerflow kit with 2 sets of RCAs so I should have the entire stereo re-ran throughout the entire car tomorrow night!

I noticed that, too. They may be a bitch to remove, so have the heat gun close when you do the body work.
