hey
my buddy told me that changing the size of your weel can really screw up you car. He said that it can change the accuracy of the speedomenter, and throw off the handling. Can anyone confirm this.

Thanks

hey man, i know this is your first post and everything, but you should really try the search bar up at the top, most of the questions you will ever have about your car will be answered with what you find. As for your question, yea, it will mess with the speedo a little, but handling, idk if it will mess it up at all. if anything it will be better because of the new tires that ususlly come with new rims. Hope this helps.

i don't know about handling, but speed yep.
now don't laugh, i got some saturn 15" rim's, and the tire size was p195/60r15.
when i had my 13" the rpm and speed was. 2,200rpms@60mph.
now when i put on the 15" i knew it was goona be bigger cause the car was higher.
but with these it was 2,600rpm's@60 or so i though.
i got pulled over twice.
one cop said i was doing 50mph when i was going bout 42mph.
the other said i was doing 67mph when i was going 60mph.
but when i chaged the tire to : p205/50r15, the speed was accurite and the handling was alot better.

you should really do the search before you ask any questions.
