I got a set of 4 new, 40k mi tires called Mohave P185 65R14's. they were $48 a tire, plus all that other crap (mounting, etc.)

My 3g feels like a new born (I've got filter's "Take a Picture" stuck in my head... ). It drives great, handles better. No hard pulling to the right. (actually it pulls a little to the left now, but ever so slightly)

Anyone ever done an alignment on their own? After I change out my ball joints and tie rod ends, I'm gonna get that done, but I don't really want to spend $50.

I didn't think you could even do an alignment on your own. Don't you pretty much have to use an alignment machine? I bought a lifetime alignment policy two years ago. I get free alignments for as long as I have the car. Best purchase I've ever made!

I didn't have enough $$ to get the 195's.. They were a lot more because they didn't have as many brands as the 185's.
