Will an 89 Lx-i intake work on an 87 car?

I'm buying a motor with the two-piece intake, mine has the one-piece. What all would be needed to use it?

What he's asking is this. He's picking up the spare 88-89 LX-i engine that I have. He's wanting the head and intake, but I am just giving it to all to him to make room for the upcoming swap project.

He wants to know if he can use the intake manifold off the 88-89 LX-i motor on his 87 LX-i. If that helps anyone.

well what your gonna have to do is, find a way to work the secondaries or even better have them opened full time, since you have an 87.
