Are there any tricks or anything to avoid having it towed to a shop to use an impact wrench to get that damn bolt off... I've seriously messed with it for a week straight and cannot get it to bust loose... Someone said something about spinning the engine over and using a ratchett and go the opposite direction.. I dunno he confused me but any tricks or ideas would be greatly appriciated

no, no, no. that will that will make the bolt tighter if you spin the engine with a breaker bare on it. um, if you have enuff space and some help try getting a nice big breaker bare with a 6 point socket and use a 3lbs sledge on the tip of the breaker bare. be carefull though, this isnt the best or safest way. just kinda the last thing on the list to try :D
they also have a tool that you can hold the flywheel with, but i dont know how you would do that without takeing off some housing :dunno:
ps 83ft lbs is the torque for the crank bolt.

Take it to the dealer. They should do it for like 20 bucks.

so u got two of them then. Two crank pully bots to take out. EEEks. U have the breaker bar? i would say just let the damn bolt soak in a penetrating lubricant and see what happens.
