yes, but you may not have the most stable idle when you turn on the fans or the headlights. Not too much of a notticable drop in rpms though... and nothing that chouldn't be compensated for.

I never did have you problem becasue I removed all of the emissions lines prior to removing the carb.

its this boost thing that sticks out of the carb its caught under some hardlines, the carb wants to comeout it just gets stuck, u take ur lines out first and then the carburetor?

I took all the lines off (the ones that I could get off due to dry rot) and all the metal lines. Then I took the carb off. It was easier that way. The carb will have problems coming off because the metal lines behind it. At least mine did.

well they are holding the carb in place if i can get them off i can get the carb out, but i don't know how i got these 2 bolts off but its still not moving, all those lines confuse the hell out of me, like when u start removing the lines, how much stuff do you plug up? theres alot of lines... i dunno i hate the way honda designed this thing, F.I would of been easier, i just want the carb out for now, there be a way of taking the carb out with out disassembling the whole engine bay

Ok, i just finished doing this, like 5 min ago. All u have to do, is remove the 2 bolts holding the medal lines on, then, remove a few lines on the driver side, coming from the medal lines. B sure to mark them. This should give u enough slack to push the medal lines towards the fire wall, pullin up on the carb, it takes a bit of work, but I just got mine out, and I had the same prob.
