seeing as we are in the performance section i figured id ask people to tell us about the horsepower they got in their vehicle and the torque and tell us what is under your hood

It would be nice to have it dynoed, but when I get my current stuff done I will have a setup pretty similar to what justanother mike is doing now, but I will have a 75 shot to top it off. I guess he is hoping for about 150WHP NA

a20a3

JDM B20A and the B20B/Z from the CR-V will fit also. However, with the right amount of money, you can put anything in the car. When you talk budget, that's where the problem comes in.

i think there's there's two guys fittin h22, there's a couple of b16 powered ones. lots of b20's. couple of 18's. but like steve said you can fit lots of things, it's just the money and time you wanna spend.

My accord has a short ram, stock exhaust/no muffler, bypassed intake mani/eacv/tb coolant lines, misc other minor mods (advanced timing etc) with weight reduction, As per my 1/4 time i should be about 130hp at the crank... she runs 16.2

yea, it's easy. 98-02 Accord V6, it fits in almost like a glove. All you have to do is hardwire your body harness manually, wire the car for VTEC, custom create a new engine cradle, widen the front wheelbase, get new fuel lines and components, new axels, all new front suspension and a pair of wheels and slicks to keep al that power down on the road.

It sould be easy no more than say a 4-6hr swap with some simple tools a few screwdrivers and a wrench or 2.

well damn if you gonna do a V6 swap might as do it right. Grap the C35 from the Odyssey match that with a 6-speed form a NSX and do a midengine layout RWD. :D or why not do a CRV AWD swap......... he he he
You if had the money or know your shit for fabricated, dropping a a V6 from the accord could be done. Maybe even the V6 from the NSX but you need the accord or legend tranny to run FWD and the mounts on the C-series motors should be the same.

arent NSX's inline 6 not v6? j/w

idk waht year it is but my grandpa (lol) has a legend hes modded up.. i think its a 93-96ish but its a 6spd.. dyno'd a month ago was pushin 355 hp @ the wheels
wasnt there someone on here who did a 6 spd or something from a legend a while ago? i thought i remembered someone trying something..

Well....there are a few C series trannys. Legends have the 6spd tranny from the last gen legends. It SHOULD fit with the C series engines but i'm sure mounting it will be another story. NSX is a V6 and depending on what year a C30A (90-95) C32A (96 and up)

That is an interesting hybrid the odyssey engine mounted with the nsx tranny or legend one. Who knows maybe someone will do it ^^.

lets get a new clutch Sean and then crank up the boost, then she what she pulls on the dyno........... :D

I don't think honda has made a inline-6????? toyota and nissan do though.
The NSX to legend tranny wouldn't work they are a different configuration....... aka FWD to RWD. They are both C-series engines so most likely they might bolt up. A 6 speed swap on the A20........ possible with a K-seires tranny maybe, I think that the V6 tranny would be too wide to even work on a inline 4. One thing I know for sure is I could use a 6 gear, my highway crusing rpms kills my MPG.

Am I reading this right??? the b20 from the cr-v is a bolt in???? which mounts do you use, from what car/ engine?? i dont care the my car is carb and the cr-v is fi, i can get around that, ive had 12 cars since i got my license, and only 3 of them werent hondas, so thats not an issue.

However, i absolutely REFUSE to pay 600 bucks for a set of engine mounts.

If anyone has any more info on this please let me know,

Thanx, Tim

No the B20 from the CRV will not bolt on and you will have to get the mounts for it unless someone that has the mounts allready will get them copied so we can get them for cheaper. :deal: But if you do the B20 CRV there is the AWD tranny problem, too hook up RWD or keep it FWD?????????? :D
If you are lost look at this months Honda Tuning and the project AWD Teg. he he he he he
