Which oem floormats fit in our cars?

Right now I just know the 90-93 accord floormats fit in our cars. I'm wondering what else is there because 90-93 doesn't really exist anymore. I'm looking at getting some new black floormats. :D

I really like my 6th gen Accord floormats! They don't fit "exact", but pretty darn close. Close enough that you don't really even notice unless you're looking for it.

Funny thing is, I got these at the junkyard out of a red 88-89 DX coupe with black interior. $3.25 per mat and near mint condition.... can't argue with that!

when i went to the dealer for mats, they said that had been discontinued and had none sitting in a warehouse, but to ask other dealerships that might possibly have a set in stock due to an order that wasn't picked up back in the early 90's or what-not...

since the 4gee mats fit, the dealership might still have those since they are a generation newer...

I tried to locate a new set and no luck and im very doubtful any dealer would have kept them in their invintory this long. If i decide to use the black carpet i have them im going to have the same company A-1 (i think) make some floor mats to match.

yes, one of the companies that makes replacement carpets for us also cuts floor mats for us... that is a much easier way to go, most likely cheaper, too

i have rubber floor mats that were for the 3gee. mine are gray. came from an '87 hb. they fit my car good and they were free which i couldnt pass up. got em at the junk yard. those are great because i dont have to worry about always keeping up carpet floor mats like the original ones. works good when i go to the beach.

HondaBoy

junkyard baby! really thats about the only choice for OEM floor mats with out the damned high price of newer ones. or, you can always make your own if you have the inovation, and time.

well since I work at a Honda Dealership, I'm hoping some floormats will come by that no one wants. Then I can get them. I already have free Odyssey floormats for the time being. I just had to cut the big ass mats to fit it. At least it got those spikes to hold it to the ground. :D

Maybe the 6th gen ones work lol. gotta try gotta try. :D

I got the coupe ones in my Sedan, and they fit nicely.

$64.80 on this site. A nice addition to the interior IMO.

I got tired of looking for OEM mats for my 89 Accord and had some custom made to fit. I can't remember the company I used, but here is a link to one that does the same thing. Make a paper template of your current mats and send it to them so they could cut you some nice mats in any color you want.

Finally Ive got a 6th gen floormats. It was near new condition with a securing kit (small metal bracket to stop dr. side mat slipping). Costs me £12 (approx US$20)
They fit well. On the dr. side, the curve of the edge between the centre tunnel and seat base doesn't match well but once you fit it you dont see it cos it goes under the seat. On the navi side, the same curve thing plus its width is slightly wider but by forcing it to settle in, it sit nicely. The rears, on my aerodeck, the length of the mat is a bit longer so the matt doesn't clear the end of the seat rail completely but again, it sits with no major problem. It is probably because the rear cabin in the Aerodeck is slightly shorter than sedans.
The quality of the upper is excellent - equivalent to carpet fitted to our car itself. The back is thin gray sponge. Good against slipping around and makes floormat much lighter. Compare to genuine carpet came with 3rd gen they are not as solid. The original one was with heavy black rubber/plastic with lots of studs which bite into the carpet. Colour wise, the blueish gray of it matches very well with my charcoal gray inteiror. The Accord logo is a bonus!
If you pay full price and if you are a perfectionist you may not be happy but for me they are excellent and I think they are far nicer than 3rd party carpet. Well recommended. Thanks Jareds 89 LX-i for your info.

I found a website where you could buy OEM floormats for our car, it about $14 USD, I'll see if I can find it again.

Didn't find the cheap ones but...

the 6th gen coupe rear mats fit well on the sedan rear. The only small issue is behind the driver seat where the ECU is.it gets kicked by the mat by just a little..but its not visible so I don't mind.

I say the 6th gen ones are the best ones to get at the moment since you still can get them brand new for 60bucks. If you are an OEM whore then I'm sure you will love it when it says accord on them :D
