everything on car "should" be in mm right? this seems like it should be cause it is and "import" and i have thought this through all the work i have done on it but sometimes it just seems like a metric socket doesnt quite fit just right on some of the bolts ... hmmm

some of the larger nuts might be standard, but beyond that EVERYTHING is a 10,12,14,or 17 mm, at least in my experiance (which includes pulling all parts for a tranny swap)... in fact unless its engine work i only bring my 10,12,and 14 to the j/y anymore.
i think the axle nuts and the one that holds the steering wheel on might be standard or at least standard sockets work on them, but im not entirely sure

if the bolt is all rusted sometimes a standard will fit better than a metric just because of the small size difference. happened to me where i couldn't get 1 bolt off for the rear fuel pump and the 3/8 worked better than the 11mm, if i remember correctly.

10mm my man. The pump got about six 10mm bolts and they are 0.3937 inches and ur 3/8 is 0.375 inches. Wierd that u had to loose 0.02 inches which is a tad over 1/2 mm (.508). well to sum it up, i never had a problem with those bolts :)
