Yeah, the radiator is fine, but it seems like there's too much pressure built up or something. He did use some stop leak, so that may have clogged it up. We'll flush it soon, so if anyone has any good ideas, post em up!

Do a cylinder compression test.... I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I'll bet you've got a leaky head gasket leaking cylinder compression into one of the water jackets.

H2o out the tail pipe
Oil looks like coffee with alot of creamer
Oil mixed with H2o in the Radiator
Pul the plugs and see if they are wet and rotate each cylinder to TDC to see if you get fluid out the spark plug hole
Then the obvious is Thermastat and if you used stop leak clogged water passages.
Hope this helps

it is very common thing for thermostat to be stuck shut.
i have only seen one thermostat in 3G to get stock open and it was because it was broken in half.

i was going to say thermostat. mine did the same shit a few years back. it would run fine and everything but overheat leaking into the overflow tank. now i know how to fix all my stuff so i dont have to take it to a shop like i used to do. now my car runs too cold. damn, cant get it right! lol. thats actually good here in this hot texas summer weather. anyway, good to hear you got that problem solved. dont wanna rist messing the head up overheating it! that would be an expensive mistake.

Daym, all I gotta say is get an OEM thermostat and gasket. I went to 4 parts stores and no one had the correct gasket, they had the head to housing gasket listed in place of the actual t-stat gasket.

i get my gaskets and thermostats from autozone. they always have them.

Well guys, I had the same thing just happen to me on my B20A... it was a brand new one from Honda to top it off. The thermostat broke in the EXACT same way SharkyX one died.....

That almost cost me my engine for god's sake!!!!

Scary! Did you say that the thermostat that broke was a new Honda thermostat?

I bought a napa (super-cheap) t-stat and it came with the correct gasket. Actually when I took my old one out it was a top of the line replacement type so I actually just didn't replace it and just used the gasket from the new one. But when I actually do replace my last two remaining 167K mi. coolant hoses I'll flush the system and get a new and decent t-stat.
