Is the b20a really worth all the trouble of finding the parts and manual tranny?
Are there perfromance parts for the Jdm B20a like Dc Sports header,Cold Air Intake, and a high performance Clutch from act or other company?
I have 2500 in the bank and I am really thinking of doing this swap for my 89 accord.

You should do a little more reading about it but as for parts being hard to get you can get them within a week staight out of japan. I have done a huge order and a few others have done some small orders and even mine was here within 2 wks and i ordered $2100 worth of parts. And for performance parts you would used some parts from the accord and the 88-89 prelude. I think for $2500 you can do a full B20A swap with rebuild and headers intake, and clutch. You just have to look for a decent swap with 5speed and they are out there.

I hate to say this but my B20a swap cost under 2000 USD including all the performance rebuild and initial cost. (pistons and porting).

This is by far a really nice swap. Of course, the low rate of canadian dollars helps to save alot of money.

Does the accord pick up and move a lot more faster with the b20a engine inside of it?

dude, search this sight. your questions have been asked and answered 10 times over and the threads you should find will have stuff like the exact HP and torque number and information on flywheels and all the other stuff. but yes, it will move a whole lot faster w/ a B20 then an A20

yeah the accord is faster with the B20A... I'm still in the break in period (only did 60 miles as of now) but I can say it's definetly fast... even with the stock ECU. If I'm not careful, I'll spin a tire when accelerating in a corner :D
