does any body know if i could take a 1988 accord lxi block and put a 1994 civic ex v-tec head on that block will it mount up and run because i bought a 94 civic and it runs but it has a rod nocking and i have this block but i dont know if they would be inner changable so if any buddy could give me some answers asap i would apprieciate it thanks allan

Not gonna happen man.
First the cylinder bors is way off. The length of the head is differant and the oil/coolant passages will not line up.
And then there is the fact that the engine would not mount up to the Civic chassis without a ton of work.
If I were you I would just get a new Civic block, those are everywhere.

Was in a big hurry to get info ....didn't have time to read could have bought the 88 accord for $100.00... one time quick offer ...Easier to ask and get a responce than to read for an hour and lose out on the deal :deal:
