well, after 7 hours of cutting, fitting and painting, it is done.
it is a home made CAI. I designed so i could use my battery. If you follow the how to, you have to move the battery. I worked around the battery instead. i think it came out preatty good. what do you guys think?

P.S. sorry for such a dirty engine bay. i have to clean it again one day. plus it was an excuse to use my new camera

Man I wish I lived near some of you guys then I could help you with some custom intakes and having a clean looking engine. I think it looks awesome Alex give yourself some credit you know it looks good :) What kind of car did you get the piping from and does it go into the front bumper? Smart guy.... uses a air bypass valve.

www.optionsautosalon.com

I have a set of Yellow 11mm Crane Wires that I could sell you. I used them for about a week until I figured out oh crap the blue ones would look better with my engine. $25 shipped and their yours.

looks great man....bypass valve...i dont see why u would really need one...ive been through heavy rain, puddles and everything...never even got into the motor....only way you can get water through the intake is actually going through flooded waters. trust me...and the bypass valve will actually make you lose some power because warm air can get inside the filter which defeats the purpose of a CAI.

my friend its better safe than sorry, presipitation is presipitation and rust in your cyl's is rust in your cyl's. its just that simple

i just used one U pipe and one 90 deg pipe. you really need just those bends. i had too much straight pipe left over.
