alright i know this is stupid and trust me ive read everything about lowering on here but Jokez has his car lowered a 1/2" with just springs and says it drives fine...i was wondering if i could possibly get away with a whole inch. i wanna do it up right and all but i was jw cause i dont wanna have to buy new shocks and all that if i can get away with just springs. :sad2:

I saw Jokez's car a while back at the Atlanta meet, it had a good ride to it.
You will get a little bit of negetive camber, but thats a god thing on turns. IT will wear out your tires a little prematurely, but thats the cost of running with no camber correction. You should at least get an alignment with the caster and toe in adjusted. That way you can maximize the life of the tires.
Oh and nice rims BTW. After looking at them installed I kinda regret turning them down.

how much would the camber correction cost? i really hate suspensions to tell you the truth, lol....funny story, i have hundreds of models around my house with no wheels or anything cause i do the body motor and interior then stop on the suspension, i just hate it....so i dont know anything about it. but really if i got some 1" lowering springs and went ahead and aligned and corrected the camber or w/e like you said how much would that cost excluding the springs?
And thanks on the rims....i honestly didnt really like them in the pics either but i like 5 spokes and i hoped for the best and i reallllly like them now. sry for your loss lol

yes it looks EXCELLENT trust me...i wanted to use VHT too cause i was gonna do my front bumper sigs but i couldnt wait and those brown eyebrows look ugly so i did it...gives the front end a whole diff look n i used the same bumper paint i used for the bumpers n moldings...go for it.

By the way, its a 2 1/2 in the back and 2 1/4 in the front drop.

the cheapest way to correct your camber would be to get the 84-87 lude control arms. there's a how-to on it that vinny wrote up, very good one at that. anyways, they have adjustable camber. and for the back, you can just use washers to adjust for the camber. here's the how-to: http://www.3geez.com/showthread.php?t=37070
